Hee...I proudly have both of your drawings on my wall ;) I couldn't fit it on the same wall as all my other papers and newsclippings about animation, so you've helped me start a new wall of fablulousness! Thank you again! Will you be at APE this year?
JOHN your the man! Keep them coming. WHAT SCANNER AND AT WHAT RESOLUTION DO YOU SCAN
I'm this close to buying a Motion Computing Tablet - but everytime I am just about to click the BUY button I stumbled across one of you AWESOME sketches. I would assume you would scan high enough to send to printer for your sketchbooks?
John Great designs, I love it when you post because it gives me insperation and I have noticed in my own designs I have been able to push them more with shapes I normally wouldnt think of. You and Stepn Silver have a real fluid look to your work that keeps me going. So thank you for pusing a artist along creativly.
Ok, so you don't use a PC TABLET (not Wacom thing, nor Cintiq - I mean the 'insert manufacturer name here' the type you draw on screen kinda thingy. ), nor does anyone reading your blog at the moment?
What kinda pen do you use? Some interviewer asked Andrés Segovia if they could play his guitar (as if the magic was the guitar itself) and Andrés said something to the effect of 'Nobody plays Segovia's guitar, except Segovia!"
And don't you hate scanning??? Has this been covered on this blog yet? The pain of scanning?
Brilliant work - I know there is no secret pen/tablet/software. It's just freakin' TALENT! Go Cat Go!
great girl, what's your inspiration? and the composition on that monster board is great, the energy in the lines is superb. Now lets see some more! (sorry to be greedy)
Wow John Great stuff! If I was rich I would hire someone to come in and stick a bunch of your sketches on my wall every morning. Who needs instant coffee when I could have instant inspiration! Look forward to more!
wow there sure are a lot of posts on this blog, you must be like the king or prince or something, I like your drawings a lot, my pal ryan bought your sketchbook and man it's awsome.
Amazing work,, I realy like the efortless quality of yoru work. I definatly need to get a copy of your skech book if you have one out and if you don't when are you going to publish one. thanks for sharing your work, great to see it!

Yes , Yes - Silver and Nevarez are the dynamic duo - indeed! Do you both use real media?
I'm trying to find a blogger who draws on a PC tablet - specifically - MotionComputings tablet.
Or any recomendations encouraged! Pro/Con!

What a cheery ogre! The girls are captivating. Neat contrast in characters. They look like they could be in the same story!
