What brutes!Do you think they are cranky all the time?In the shower? At breakfast?
Wow! Loads of power in that top sketch. So much life..Great work John!
Howdy John,Great to see an update as always. your blog has become a daily stop of mine for a hearty helping of morning inspiration.Man! I am so envious of all of the great feeling of energy and emotion that you manage to cram into each and every sketch.what's your secret?cod-liver and motor oil? do tell...
This is the killer one Dude, I love the top one ,below eyelevel, Wow! Its HOT!!!. Awesome work man, I keep visiting ur page very often, infact daily, and I have all ur sketches saved. Great, Keep it up.
Loving that top one that is so cool. That would make a cool animated fight scene,
God John!!! they're so powerful and strong drawings!!! Beautiful!
I really like that first one. lots of motion in it, like its a frame from a cool fight sequence!
Your sketches are just gorgeous, John! So much weight and energy to them all! More! MORE!
Fantastic work yet again John! So much energy to your sketches. -Paul
Jeez. Powerful stuff, man! Love your work. Got ya bookmarked. ;o)
Terrific! So much weight, power, and character in these guys. I'm curious, what kind of pencil do you use? I love the look you get out of it.
Absolutely wonderful sketches, John!!! Real powerful lines there! Whhooaaaa...*.*
John:These are GREAT!I love the WOODLESS pencil. Thanks for the tip. It is hard to get used to the softness of the 6b though. Do you ever sketch with a light blue pencil first or do you just GO FOR IT!!Dave
Great drawings as always!! Fun character designs!!
I wonder what kind of pencil you use also!? Great poses, expressions, everything!
Great life and feel in these poses. Nice and loose, great stuff.
Those are awesome John!! The first one convays such a feeling of menacing opposition!! That's really hard to achieve in a drawing! Kudos!! I'm taking you out of my 'buddy' category, and placing you into 'hero worship' category. lol
Dude these are great sketches! Your work always inspires whether it be gladiators, cowboys, pirates or even bears!Oh yes and I'm also enjoying your sketchbook "Bits & Pieces." Really good stuff!!
Wow, really amazing! I like it how you got the form by roughing out the under-drawing loosely then using a more sharpened edge to finish up. I need to learn how to do that ;_;
Good gawsh man!
What can I add to all the above? Am gob-smacked.
Wow, so fierce, so alive...awesome sketches!!!!
Wonderful stuff again. Great energy and construction.
These are out of hand!!! Awesome!
