

Here are my first attempts at matte painting. I was watching Peter Jackson's King Kong the other night and was inspired to create my own clip. Very crude, but alot of fun. The giant rocks in the painting were all from one image. I truly admire and respect all those damn great matte painters who make it look so easy.
Looks Great. Very atmospheric. Would be very interresting to see the progress

That looks awesome my friend!! Super comping job! The edge on the rock in the foreground looks a little too crisp, but over all it looks great.
